What not to say

Every time I leave the house I am bombarded with comments from people. I do my best to smile politely and quietly repent as I walk away. This has inspired me to make a list of those things not to say to an overdue pregnant woman.

5. "That is definitely a girl (or boy)"-the truth is you have no idea and it is a bit irritating.

4. "Is it twins?"- no explanation required

3. "Oh another boy, I am so sorry."-Is a baby not exciting enough? Do we really have to make negative comments about the genitalia they have?

2. "Hello Preggers"-from friends~not so bad, from the deli lady at the grocery store~so annoying!

And number one has got to be
"You have a ways to go, you haven't even dropped yet."-really do you want to leave with your life intact???????

ARE YOU STILL POSTING??? Seriously!?!?!!!
Well, you seem to be getting pretty annoyed in this late stage in the game, so that's a good sign, right? Any time now..... :)
And if it makes you feel any better, which it probably won't...you WILL NOT be pregnant forever! It will come out eventually, right? :) Love ya! Hang in there! Can't wait to hear all about him! I'm quite glad it's a boy - but i got that same comment when I was pregnant with Tal. Annoyed me like crazy - especially since I KNEW it was a boy! I wanted to yell that in their face - but I didn't!

I got the same comments when preggers with Greta. Another girl? You're poor husband! GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRR Which is exactly why we didn't find out with Wyatt.

I'll call you soon. :-)

Maybe some of it is a little bit more annoying since you've had to wait so long. But you're right - I think just about every situation has someone to annoy you with. Do you know how many times I've had to answer the "Where did you learn to speak English?" and "Are there snakes and elephants on the roads?" questions? :-)

I giggled with all those comments ha ha, and last was by far the worst. Michelle was with me and might remember when an OB nurse told me at the thrift store I am going to go WAY over my due date (more than 2 weeks), not dropped yet the whole deal...ha ha little did she know, a few days later, ta da. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH those comments...
