As many of you know, I am a Christmas fanatic!! Although this year has been a bit low on Christmas spirit. I have deceided that the weather has alot to do with that. It hardly feels like 10 days until Christmas, more like 10 days until Easter. But, anyway, I am praying for snow next week, lots of it!!!! And in order to boost the Christmas Spirit ( and because I watched Letterman last night) I will now list my top 10 Christmas movies.
11. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles ( I know it is a Thanksgiving movie, that is why it is no.11 in my top 10 list. Great movie though!!)
10. Its a wonderful life (ok ending, but a bit depressing)
9. White Christmas
8. The Santa Clause 2
7. The Family Man
6. The best Christmas pagent ever
5. Miracle on 34th Street
4. The Santa Clause 1
3. It Came upon a midnight clear ( a very 80's Mickey Rooney movie)
2.5 A Christmas Story ( I can't believe I forgot that one!!!)
2. Elf
1. Christmas Vacation
Leave me any comments on this or any suggestions of other movies. I am on a Christmas movie marathon this week and I welcome all ideas.

I like "A Christmas Story" You know, about Ralphie and his quest for a Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle BB gun with a compass in the stock and a thing which tells time.
Melissa suggested "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. Well, she says her dad likes it.
Bill Murray in "Scrooged" is pretty darn fun. Come on, put a little love in your heart.
However, the Schwarzenegger / Sinbad vehicle "Jingle All the Way" should not, on for any reason, be on your list or anyone elses for that matter.
My all time fav is A Christmas Story. Love it!
Yeah, all this no snow is getting me thinking about Al Gore and global warming....
i am perfectly happy with mild weather. indians were designed to not live in cold temperatures... just my luck i ended up in chicago. ;-)
Clark Griswold rocks. And I do love Will Ferrell as an Elf. "I KNOW SANTA!!!"
i can't believe you watch letterman. we need to talk.
hehe
i don't know any of those movies except for elf. i loved it.
and i'm with bipin - out with the snow - bring on spring!!
"Holiday Inn" is good and your whole family would like the Muppet's Christmas Carol movie. I'm glad to see White Christmas was on your list, although I think it should've been further down on your list!
Hi Amy Welcome to my blog!! Good to hear from you!!
A Christmas Story is by far our favorite Christmas movie! Ryan owns a Red Ryder (Insert whatever bill said) :) BB gun, from when the movie was first out ~ still in the box. Pretty cool! Fun list!
Miracle on 34th Street is my fave. I love that little girl! We watched Jingle All The Way this year and it kinda stunk! It's amazing that even though every year there seems to be a new Christmas movie there's only a select few that are any good! Anyway, I can't believe you forgot Charlie Brown's Christmas!
